I came across this photographer's work on Flickr, and kept coming back to his intense images of his beautiful country - Iran. A country rich in art, architecture, poetry, calligraphy and handicrafts, among other things. And, Abbas has captured all this seamlessly in his photographs...

Bhavna, your photo collections always astonish me with colour. Thank you for sharing. I was always afraid of bright colour (you know how we associate ourselves with certain colours, like the paint colours we like, or the clothing colours?). Well anyway, I'm finding I like richer and deeper and brighter colours now more than ever.
